Yellow Watch - Severe Thunderstorm

Conditions are favourable for the development of severe thunderstorms that may be capable of producing strong wind gusts and large hail.

What: Wind gusts up to 90 km/h. Near quarter sized hail.

When: Ending early this evening.

Additional information: Thunderstorms may develop the in the next few hours before moving into Quebec.

Driving conditions may be difficult. Local utility outages are possible. There is a risk of injury.

Severe thunderstorm watches are issued when conditions are favourable for the development of thunderstorms capable of producing damaging hail, wind or rain.
