Squall Watch In Effect

Conditions are favourable for the development of squalls with wind gusts up to 55 knots, frequent lightning, hail and poor to very poor visibility in thunderstorms heavy at times.

Thunderstorms over Michigan are expected to track over the area starting early this afternoon. The potential for thunderstorms will remain possible throughout the afternoon and evening.
