Yellow Warning - Severe Thunderstorm

At 2:12 p.m. PDT, Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a severe thunderstorm capable of producing damaging wind gusts, loonie to ping pong ball size hail and heavy rain.

Driving conditions will likely be difficult. Damage to roofs, fences, soft shelters or trees is likely. Large hail may cause significant damage and injury.

Weather in the mountains can change suddenly resulting in hazardous driving conditions.

Severe thunderstorm warnings are issued when imminent or occurring thunderstorms are expected to produce damaging hail, wind or rain.
