Yellow Warning - Severe Thunderstorm

At 7:47 p.m. MDT, Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a severe thunderstorm capable of producing damaging wind gusts, up to quarter size hail and very heavy rain.

This severe thunderstorm is moving across north Edmonton and is moving to the east-northeast at 45 km/h.

Do not stop under overpasses.

Driving conditions will be difficult. Heavy rain will likely cause flash flooding and significant reductions to visibility.

Severe thunderstorms can produce tornadoes.
