Orange Warning - Severe Thunderstorm

At 6:57 p.m. MDT, Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a dangerous thunderstorm capable of producing damaging wind gusts, golf ball to tennis ball size hail and heavy rain.

A severe thunderstorm was located 10 kilometres south of Rocky Mountain House, moving southeast at 30 km/h.

Severe thunderstorms can produce tornadoes. Severe thunderstorm warnings are issued when imminent or occurring thunderstorms are expected to produce damaging hail, wind or rain.
