The National Weather Service in Las Vegas has extended the
* Flash Flood Warning for... West Central Mohave County in northwestern Arizona... San Bernardino County in southern California... South Central Clark County in southern Nevada...
* Until midnight PDT /midnight MST/.
* At 1011 PM PDT /1011 PM MST/, Thunderstorm activity persists across central Mohave County and the Mohave Valley into the overnight hours. Widespread rainfall of 1 to 4 inches has resulted in pockets of ongoing flooding and excessive runoff. Expect rainfall rates to diminish over the next several hours; however the flood threat still persists.
HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing flash flooding.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.
* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Searchlight, Cal-Nev-Ari, Highway 95 And I-40 and Essex.
Instructions
