At 215 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Salt Lake City, moving northeast at 15 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible.
Locations impacted include... Salt Lake City, West Valley City, Bountiful, South Salt Lake, North Salt Lake, Summit Park, Emigration Canyon, Salt Lake City International Airport, University Of Utah, and Sugarhouse.
This includes the following highways... Interstate 15 between mile markers 305 and 313. Interstate 80 in Utah between mile markers 116 and 119.
