* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.
* WHERE...Southeastern Elbert County in east central Colorado... Southern Lincoln County in east central Colorado...
* WHEN...Until 615 PM MDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Stream flows are elevated.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 505 PM MDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. The storms were moving southeast at 15 mph. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 0.5 and 2 inches of rain have fallen.
- Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include... Punkin Center, Karval, Forder, and Kutch.
- The Boyero area and Big Sandy Creek has been upgraded to a Flash Flood Warning. See additional information in that bulletin.
