Big Blue River at Carthage.

Clifty Creek at Hartsville.

.Copious rainfall in the past 24 hours, totaling as much as 5 inches in Bartholomew County and 8 inches in Rush County, are quickly bringing flooding to the Big Blue River and Clifty Creek today. Rainfall will taper off the rest of the day, with additional amounts expected to be under four tenths of an inch.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Clifty Creek at Hartsville.

* WHEN...Until tomorrow afternoon.

* IMPACTS...At 9.0 feet, Flooding begins in low spot along Clifty Creek.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 3:00 PM EDT Wednesday the stage was 8.9 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage late this afternoon to a crest of 9.6 feet just after midnight tonight.
