Special Weather Statement

At 842 PM MST, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Salome, or 35 miles south of Alamo Lake, moving northeast at 15 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible.

Locations impacted include... Wenden and Salome.

This includes US Highway 60 between mile markers 50 and 52, and between mile markers 54 and 74.
