* WHERE...Walnut Creek at Des Moines 63rd St, or from 1 1/3 miles upstream of North Walnut Creek to the Raccoon River.

* WHEN...Until this evening.

* IMPACTS...At 14.0 feet, N Valley Dr is closed. Water affects Hoak Rd between Center St as well as the levee affecting several businesses.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 6:46 AM CDT Wednesday the stage was 13.1 feet, and rising. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage this morning to a crest of 14.9 feet late this morning. It will then fall below flood stage late this afternoon. - Flood stage is 14.0 feet.
