Special Weather Statement

At 143 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 32 miles east of Ranch Campground, or 33 miles east of Ursine, moving northeast at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible.

This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of south central Beaver and northwestern Iron Counties.
