* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 828 AM HST, Doppler radar indicated a large band of moderate to locally heavy rain moving over the entire island. The largest rainfall totals over the last hour are focused on the interior higher terrain. Rain was falling at a rate of 0.5 to 1.5 inches per hour. Water levels in several streams across the island are also beginning to rise. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Lihue, Kapaa, Kalaheo, Kekaha, Princeville, Kilauea, North Fork Wailua Trails, Alakai Swamp Trails, Lawai, Omao, Kokee State Park and Wailua Homesteads.
