Tropical Storm Lala will continue to bring heavy rain to the Big Island and Maui County through this afternoon, and bring heavy rain to Oahu, Kauai, and Niihau through late tonight.
* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible.
* WHERE...Kauai, Niihau, and Oahu.
* WHEN...Through late tonight.
* IMPACTS...Flood prone roads and other low lying areas may be closed due to elevated runoff and overflowing streams. Urban areas may receive more significant flooding and property damage due to rapid runoff.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Tropical Storm Lala will bring periods of heavy rain to Kauai, Niihau, and Oahu through late tonight. Current forecast has rainfall amounts of 2 to 6 inches with local amounts up to 8 inches possible.
