.Large surf peaked last night over the eastern end of the state as Tropical Cyclone Lala approached and passed just south of Big Island. Surf for the east-facing shores of Oahu and Kauai is peaking at advisory levels this morning. Surf will gradually decline below advisory levels along all east facing shores by early afternoon.
* WHAT...Surf heights between 10 to 14 feet.
* WHERE...Eastern shores of Big Island, Maui, Molokai and Oahu.
* WHEN...Until 2 PM HST this afternoon.
* IMPACTS...Moderate. Strong breaking waves and strong currents will make swimming dangerous.
