The National Weather Service in Norman has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for... Southeastern Pontotoc County in east central Oklahoma... Northern Johnston County in southeastern Oklahoma...

* Until 500 PM CDT.

* At 206 PM CDT, emergency management reported ongoing flooding near Pontotoc, including inundation of County Line Road. Radar shows thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 2 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing flash flooding.
