* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.
* WHERE...The island of Hawaii in Hawaii County...
* WHEN...Until 615 PM HST.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding on roads, poor drainage areas, and in streams.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 439 PM HST, Doppler radar indicated areas of heavy showers and thunderstorms continuing over interior and northern Big Island. Rain was falling at a rate of 1 to 1.5 inches per hour, with the heaviest showers on the slopes between Waimea and Puuanahulu and the western end of Saddle Road. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Kailua-Kona, Captain Cook, Waikoloa Village, Kapaau, Honokaa, Pohakuloa Training Area, Pohakuloa Camp, Kamuela, Puako, Kawaihae and Holualoa.
