* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible.
* WHERE...Portions of Illinois, including Ford, Grundy, Iroquois, Kankakee, LaSalle, Livingston, and eastern and southern Will Counties. Portions of northwestern Indiana, including Lake, Porter, Newton, Jasper, and Benton counties.
* WHEN...From 10 PM CDT /11 PM EDT/ this evening through Saturday morning.
* IMPACTS...Widespread flooding of low-lying including ditches and farm fields may occur. Widespread roadway flooding may occur. Area creeks and rivers may rapidly rise out of their banks. Some structures may flood. Some of the flooding may significant and locally life threatening.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Repeated rounds of torrential rainfall producing thunderstorms in the past week have lead to widespread saturated soils and standing water in low-lying areas.
