* IMPACTS...Flooding of the Muskingum River at and near McConnelsville is expected this afternoon and evening.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1219 PM EDT, The gauge at McConnelsville on the Muskingum River was reading 6.1 feet and rising. The river is forecast to crest near 7.5 feet this evening. Due to the recent dam replacement, the official flood stage is no longer representative of known impacts. Flooding of areas away from the gauge can be expected at lower stages. At stages of 7.5 feet, sections of Route 669 above Malta and other roads along the river being to flood. In addition, low-lying areas adjacent to the river, including recreational boat ramps, will also experience flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
