* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.
* WHERE...The island of Kauai in Kauai County...
* WHEN...Until 230 PM HST.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding on roads, poor drainage areas, and in streams.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1107 AM HST, Doppler radar indicated the widespread heavy rain diminishing over the island. However, scattered areas of moderate to locally heavy rain continue to move across the area, so minor flooding will remain a concern for the next few hours. Rain was falling at a rate of up to 1.5 inches per hour. Water levels in the Hanalei River continue to be elevated as well, with the potential for water over Kuhio Highway at the bridge. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... the entire island of Kauai.
