* WHAT...Arroyo and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...North-central Otero County in New Mexico.

* WHEN...Until 1015 PM MDT.

* IMPACTS...Rises in small streams and normally dry arroyos. Water over roadways.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 710 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms along the west slopes of the Sacramento Mountains, especially north of Tularosa and around Three Rivers. Arroyos and small streams will likely flow, which may impact recreation areas around Three Rivers. - Additional rainfall of up to 0.5 to 1 inch is expected over the area.
