* WHAT...Small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...Portions of Northern Otero County in New Mexico.
* WHEN...Until 1045 PM MDT.
* IMPACTS...Rises in small streams and normally dry arroyos. Dangerous flows over low-water crossings.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 753 PM MDT, Heavy rain is pushing south along the east slopes of the Sacramento Mountains. The storms have mostly been moving steadily, limiting flood risk. But heavier rain has fallen in parts of the Tularosa Creek basin, west of Mescalero village, and in another area between Bent and Tularosa. Minor flooding may impact areas closer to Mescalero, while low water crossings and areas near the creek bed may be inundated between Bent and through to Tularosa. - It may take some time for flood flows to reach low water crossings in Tularosa village. - Some locations that may experience flooding include...
