At 614 AM EDT, trained weather spotters reported thunderstorms producing flash flooding in and around the Bluffton area in Wells County. Localized rainfall estimates between 2 and 4 inches of rain have fallen so far this morning on already saturated ground. Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are possible in the warned area.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.
SOURCE...Trained spotters reported.
IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas.
Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Huntington, Bluffton, Decatur, Berne, Ossian, Geneva, Andrews, Markle, Monroe, Lancaster, Preble, Nottingham, Zanesville, Uniondale, Poneto, Vera Cruz, North Oaks, Murray, Kingsland and Travisville.
