At 519 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 6 miles northwest of Odum to near Alma. Movement was southeast at 10 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts of 45 to 55 mph and excessive cloud-to-ground lightning.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Excessive cloud-to-ground lightning is occurring.
Locations impacted include... Jesup, Alma, Surrency, Odum, Bristol, Doctortown, and New Lacy.
