The National Weather Service in Duluth has issued a Red Flag Warning for wind and low relative humidity, which is in effect from 11 AM to 10 PM CDT Monday. A Fire Weather Watch has also been issued. This Fire Weather Watch for wind and low relative humidity is in effect from Tuesday afternoon through Tuesday evening.
* AFFECTED AREA...In Minnesota, Koochiching, North St. Louis and Northern Cook and Lake.
* WINDS...Southwest 5 to 15 mph with gusts up to 30 mph on Monday. Northwest 5 to 10 mph with gusts up to 20 mph on Tuesday.
* RELATIVE HUMIDITY...As low as 21 percent on both Monday and Tuesday.
* IMPACTS...The rapid spread of any fires may occur due to the forecast weather conditions and dry fuels per guidance from local land management agencies.
