The following river information is based on recent heavy rain across central Illinois in addition to forecast rainfall over the next 24 hours. The exact amount, intensity, timing, and location of the rain that will occur still has some uncertainty. These outlook stages are provided to show what impact the recent and forecast precipitation may have on river levels. Once there is more certainty about the river forecasts, a flood warning will be issued if the threat materializes.
