The National Weather Service in Mount Holly has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for... Southeastern Monmouth County in central New Jersey... Northeastern Ocean County in southern New Jersey...

* Until 345 PM EDT.

* At 1144 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 0.5 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. The expected rainfall rate is 1.5 to 3 inches in 1 hour. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. With high tide coming up, flooding impacts may be worse near the coast.

This includes the following highways... Interstate 195 in New Jersey between mile markers 21 and 34. Garden State Parkway between mile markers 85 and 99.
