At 1223 AM EDT, Rain will continue to quickly end across the warned area but excessive runoff after a widespread 4 inch rainfall will continue. Remain wary of rapidly rising stream and river levels along Dutchmans Creek and the Tyger River, east of I-26 to the highway 49 bridge over the Tyger River.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.
SOURCE...Radar and automated gauges.
IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas.
Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Mainly rural areas of Southeastern Spartanburg and West Central Union Counties generally north of Cross Anchor and Cross Keys.
