* WHEN...From 6 PM Wednesday to 6 AM AKDT Thursday.

* IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects and a few power outages may result. Travel could be difficult.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Expect more sporadic gusts to 50 mph rather than frequent gusts. Southwest winds Wednesday afternoon turn westerly by late Wednesday night into Thursday morning. Winds will diminish through Thursday morning.
