Flash Flood Warning

At 640 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 0.5 and 1 inch of rain has fallen across areas across and just north of Zuni Pueblo. Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.1 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing flash flooding.

IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.

Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Zuni Pueblo and Black Rock.

Areas along the Zuni River that were impacted by previous flooding events since last Thursday will experience the worst flash flooding impacts.
