Tropical Cyclone Lala will bring heavy rain to the Big Island and Maui County this evening through Sunday and Oahu, Kauai, and Niihau Saturday evening through late Sunday night.
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible.
* WHERE...Lanai, Molokai, and Kahoolawe.
* WHEN...From 6 PM HST this evening through late Saturday night.
* IMPACTS...Flood prone roads and other low lying areas may be closed due to elevated runoff and overflowing streams. Urban areas may receive more significant flooding and property damage due to rapid runoff.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Tropical Cyclone Lala will bring heavy rain to Maui County, beginning Friday evening through Saturday night. At this time, amounts of 4 to 6 inches with local amounts up to 8 inches. Higher localized amounts are possible.
