Flood Warning

...The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in Indiana...

Driftwood River near Edinburgh.

East Fork White River at Columbus.

Flatrock River near Columbus.

East Fork White River at Seymour.

Big Blue River at Shelbyville.

East Fork White River near Rivervale.

.Minor flooding will continue along the East Fork White River. The initial crest is near Columbus and Seymour as of last Saturday morning and should reach Rivervale around Tuesday. Additional rainfall more than an inch in these basins could increase the crests. Moderate flooding continues on the Big Blue at Shelbyville but crest has occurred and the river is falling there.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...East Fork White River at Columbus.

* WHEN...Until Monday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 9.0 feet, Cabins begin to flood south of Tellman Road. Mill Race Park floods. Lowland flooding begins. State Road 11 between Southern Crossing and CR 550 S is closed.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 10:00 AM EDT Saturday the stage was 9.1 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 10:00 AM EDT Saturday was 9.2 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 9.4 feet just after midnight tonight.
