* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...Gila County in east central Arizona... Maricopa County in south central Arizona... Pinal County in southeastern Arizona...
* WHEN...Until 1145 PM MST.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Rises in small streams and normally dry arroyos. Some low-water crossings may become impassable.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 743 PM MST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Up to 0.75 inches of rain have fallen. - This includes the following streams and drainages... Salt River, Campaign Creek, Tonto Creek, Barge Creek, La, Tortilla Creek, Reavis Creek, First Water Creek, Lewis and Pranty Creek, Barranca Creek and Pine Creek. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 2 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Apache Junction, Superior, Gold Canyon, Roosevelt, Boyce Thompson Arboretum, Queen Valley, Florence Junction, Kings Ranch, Gold Camp, Top-Of-The-World, Superstition Mountains, Top Of The World and Tonto National Monument. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
