* Flash Flood Warning for... The Bright Angel Creek Basin below the Dragon Bravo Fire scar and Grand Canyon between Desert View and Grand Canyon Village in... Coconino County in north central Arizona...

* Until 815 PM MST.

* At 416 PM MST, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain over the Bright Angel Creek Basin below the Dragon Bravo Fire scar and also over the Grand Canyon between Desert View and Grand Canyon Village. Between 0.75 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing flash flooding in and around the Bright Angel Creek Basin below the Dragon Bravo Fire scar and Grand Canyon between Desert View and Grand Canyon Village.
