At 505 PM MST /605 PM MDT/, Doppler radar indicated that heavy rain has ended over the warned area, along and south of Highway 64 between Desert View and Cameron. Between 0.75 and 2 inches of rain fell earlier this afternoon. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.
HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing flash flooding.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams, normally dry washes, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.
Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Tappan Spring, Cameron, Gray Mountain and Little Colorado River Navajo Tribal Park.
