At 512 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Caroga Lake Public Campground, or 7 miles northwest of Gloversville, moving southeast at 40 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and penny size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible.

Saratoga Springs, Amsterdam, Gloversville, Johnstown, Fonda, Glenville, Ballston Spa, Broadalbin, Hagaman, Edinburg, Northville, Mayfield, Round Lake, Fort Johnson, Galway, Cranberry Creek, Northampton Beach Public Campground, Caroga Lake, Rotterdam Junction, and Burnt Hills.
