...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Texas...
Cibolo Creek Near Falls City affecting Karnes County.
Cibolo Creek at Sutherland Springs affecting Karnes and Wilson Counties.
Medina River At Bandera affecting Bandera County.
* WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Medina River at Bandera.
* WHEN...Until early Saturday morning.
* IMPACTS...At 20.0 feet, Flooding begins in the Pioneer RV Park at Highway 173 in Bandera. All RV's and campers should evacuate immediately before flooding cuts off the Pioneer RV Park. Flooding threatens many homes at the upper end of Medina Lake. Residents of flood prone areas should monitor NOAA Weather Radio for developing heavy rain and flooding and prepare to evacuate as emergency officials assess the threat. Roads and bridges across Bandera County are severely flooded and very dangerous. At 22.0 feet, Severe flooding begins to threaten the Pioneer RV park. All RV's should be evacuated immediately. Homes at the upper end of Medina Lake will flood severely. Many roads and bridges in Bandera County will flood and are very dangerous.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 7:45 PM CDT Thursday the stage was 16.8 feet. - Bankfull stage is 10.0 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 7:45 PM CDT Thursday was 16.8 feet. - Forecast...The river will rise to 20.4 feet late this evening.
