At 514 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near North Masonboro Island to near Longs. Movement was southeast at 10 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible.

Locations impacted include... North Myrtle Beach, Oak Island, Carolina Beach, Shallotte, Sunset Beach, Kure Beach, Holden Beach, Ocean Isle Beach, Caswell Beach, Bald Head Island, South Masonboro Island, Snows Cut, Ocean Crest Pier, Little River, North Myrtle Beach Airport, Iredell, Boiling Spring Lakes, St. James, Carolina Shores, and Southport.
