* Flash Flood Warning for... West Central Mesa County in west central Colorado...

* Until 330 PM MDT.

* At 1237 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. The expected rainfall rate is 1 to 3 inches in 1 hour. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.2 to 0.5 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of creeks, arroyos, and streams, streets and underpasses.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Grand Junction, Fruita and Colorado National Monument.
