...The National Weather Service in Indianapolis IN has issued a Flood Warning for the following rivers in Indiana...
Flatrock River at Saint Paul.
.Radar estimates of up to nearly 7 inches of rainfall in eastern Shelby County in the past 24 hours is quickly bringing flooding to the Flatrock River at Saint Paul. The river level is expected to rise well above flood stage of 6 feet and possibly reach moderate flood stage of 10 feet tonight.
On the positive side, remaining forecast rainfall over the next couple days should be less than half an inch.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Flatrock River at Saint Paul.
* WHEN...From this evening to early Friday morning.
* IMPACTS...At 12.0 feet, Significant flooding in progress along the Flatrock River. Local river roads are flooded with possibly a few residential areas affected.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 5:45 PM EDT Wednesday the stage was 6.3 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 5:45 PM EDT Wednesday was 6.3 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 10.7 feet late tonight.
