Turkey Creek near De Witt affecting Saline and Gage Counties.
* WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and major flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Turkey Creek near De Witt.
* WHEN...Until Sunday evening.
* IMPACTS...At 28.0 feet, Floodwaters begin to impact the town of DeWitt, similar to what was experienced in 2015.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1:45 PM CDT Friday the stage was 26.4 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 1:45 PM CDT Friday was 26.4 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 27.3 feet just after midnight tonight. It will then fall below flood stage Sunday afternoon. - Flood stage is 23.5 feet. - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 27.2 feet on 03/16/2019. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
