* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Southwestern Sierra County in south central New Mexico...

* WHEN...Until 415 PM MDT.

* IMPACTS...Rises in small streams and normally dry arroyos. Water over roadways. Some low-water crossings may become impassable.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 208 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 0.5 and 1 inch of rain has fallen. - Additional rainfall of up to 0.5 inches is expected over the area.
