The National Weather Service in St Louis has extended the

* Flash Flood Warning for... Northeastern Iron County in southeastern Missouri...

* Until 700 PM CDT.

* At 459 PM CDT, local law enforcement reported flash flooding across the warned area. Between 3 and 9 inches of rain have fallen. Flash flooding is already occurring.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by heavy rain.

SOURCE...Law enforcement reported.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Ironton, Pilot Knob, Arcadia, Belleview and Granite.

This includes the following State Parks... Fort Davidson Historic Site and Elephant Rocks State Park.
