.Recent periods of heavy rainfall have led to minor to moderate flooding along Wildcat Creek, the Wabash River, and the Mississinewa River. The flooding threat will persist over the weekend into early next week in some areas.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Wabash River at Montezuma.

* WHEN...From late tonight to early Tuesday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...At 18.0 feet, Montezuma agricultural levee is overtopped. Fourteen hundred acres of low bottomlands flood.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 4:45 AM EDT Thursday the stage was 6.1 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage late tonight to a crest of 17.7 feet Sunday morning.
