Wabash River from Lafayette to Riverton.

Wildcat Creek near Lafayette.

.Rainfall amounts of 1.5 to 4 inches across much of the area is bringing minor lowland flooding to most of the Wabash River basin. The Wabash should crest by Friday morning at Lafayette and Terre Haute on Saturday. Flooding may redevelop on the upper Wabash or be extended at downriver points by moderate to heavy rainfall that is expected Sunday into Monday which is not included in the current forecasts.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Wabash River at Lafayette.

* WHEN...From this evening to tomorrow afternoon.

* IMPACTS...At 11.0 feet, Nuisance flooding of a couple of low agricultural fields begins in far western part of Tippecanoe County.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 11:30 AM EDT Thursday the stage was 9.8 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage late this evening to a crest of 11.1 feet just after midnight tonight.
