At 415 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Big Water, or 42 miles east of Kanab, moving east at 20 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible.
Locations impacted include... Big Water and Lake Powell.
This includes US Route 89 between mile markers 0 and 17.
