* Special Marine Warning for... Neuse and Bay Rivers... Pamlico Sound... Pamlico and Pungo Rivers... S of Ocracoke Inlet NC to Cape Lookout NC out to 20 NM...

* Until 300 PM EDT.

* At 208 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing waterspouts was located over The Mouth Of The Neuse River, moving northeast at 15 knots.

HAZARD...Waterspouts and wind gusts 34 knots or greater.

SOURCE...Radar.

IMPACT...Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally hazardous seas. Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and suddenly higher waves.

* Locations impacted include... Oriental, The Mouth Of The Neuse River, The Vicinity Of Adams Creek, The Mouth Of The Pamlico River, Hobucken, The Vicinity Of South River, Cedar Island, and The Vicinity Of Cedar Island.
