* IMPACTS...Any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly.

* AFFECTED AREA...In Oregon, Fire weather zone 624 covering the Klamath Basin and Fremont-Winema National Forest. In California, fire weather zone 285 covering Modoc County except for Surprise Valley. The areas of concern shrink southern portions of fwz 624 Sunday.

* WINDS...Southwest to west 10 to 20 mph with gusts up to 45 mph Friday and Saturday and 35 mph Sunday.

* MINIMUM HUMIDITY...5 to 15 percent. Humidities rise slightly on Sunday.

* DURATION...3 to 8 hours Friday, Saturday and Sunday afternoon and evening.
