* WHAT...Urban area and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Central Dona Ana County in south central New Mexico...

* WHEN...Until 815 PM MDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Dangerous flows over low-water crossings. Water over roadways.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 646 PM MDT, Thunderstorms with torrential rainfall rates will quickly move through the greater Las Cruces Area. But torrential rain will lead to minor flooding, especially in poor drainage areas. Arroyos in the Talavera area and north of US-70 on the East Mesa may flow again. - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
