White River at Muncie, below Eagle Valley Power Plant, and at Elliston.
.Repeating rounds of showers and thunderstorms over the past 72 hours, ending at 8 AM this morning, has brought copious rainfall to eastern, northern central, and much of western Indiana. Maximum radar estimates across a swath from Clinton and Howard counties north of Indianapolis, east-southeast and southeast to Randolph and Decatur counties, show roughly six to 12.5 inches of rain has fallen! This has led to widespread flooding, some of it historic.
Major flooding has occurred, is occurring, or is expected to occur on the White River at Ravenswood and points upstream. Crests downstream are currently predicted to stay under moderate flood stage as of Friday afternoon, but it will be a close call at numerous locations.
